Five great resources for Setter outs.


The internet is a great source of up to date information for Setter outs, and it is available as you need it. Here are a few of the sites I visit regularly.

1. The British Standards Institute.

The British Standards Institute govern the Technical drawing standards in the UK. Useful Links include:

BSOL – The British standards Online – An online library of British standards.

The BSI Global Construction industry page – Find out more about which standards apply to the construction industry.

5.The Forestry Stewardship council – FSC

FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. It was founded in 1993 in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy wood-labelling scheme. There are national working groups more than 50 countries including the UK.
